Blogs for Educational Leaders

A blog can be beneficial for educational leaders to use. A blog is just another way to share news as well as get feedback from others. For a school leader, a blog could be used to post events or meetings that are open to the public, or the blog can be used to gain comments from outside sources on a given situation. Positive or negative feedback to a post can give insight into a certain problem. A blog can help keep the principal or school connected to the community.

  2. I think that in the 21st century blogs are a valuable tool. We need to both reach out to the world out there and we must take the feed back we receive and put it to good use. This is the first time that I created a blog (I followed some in the past) and I believe I will be creating one for my class next school year to communicate both with parents and cowerkers alike.

  3. I am definitely going to try to keep up with a blog for my class next year. I think it would be a little more challenging that the twitter account that I am going to start but I think that it would invest more parents and students in our classroom mission.

  4. I like the idea of posting things to get feedback both positive and negative. I think it will be a valuable way to present an idea that you are thinking about implementing on campus and getting feedback from parents, students, teachers and other administrators as well as community members. May help to adjust the idea to make a positive impact.
